Ok, So it have officially almost been a year since I have blogged!
Why is this? Maybe it was because I was busy? Maybe it was because I didn't know what to say? Or might it be that I didn't think what I have to say matters? You know what? That is small thinking. That is the opposite of what we are called to be... BOLD and COURAGEOUS!
So today, I am going to let it all out, and keep moving forward. My dad always quotes this saying: "The best time to plant a mango tree was 20 years ago, the next best time is today." So today I write what I have been learning... Today is the day I continue to share this awesome Journey of Faith with you... Because a journey is not defined by a particular location but a place you go to. 1. A travelling from one place to another; trip or voyage 2. A process or course likened to traveling; a passage
So in one way or another, we all our on a "Journey". What season are you in? What walk of life are you about to embark on? What tools, items and people are with you? What is the weather like on your trip? Is it nice and sunny, or are you facing a storm?
The Sunny Journey: Enjoy this time. Know that God has so really awesome things for you in this time! Know that this a time where you are growing, and soaking in the many beautiful things this life has to offer! Dream BIG! Bring people into your sunlight. Make sure in this time that you are giving your warmth and comfort to others in this time, because some are in a storm, and really need warmth.
The Storm: I know this season is difficult. I am reminded of the story of when the storm was on the water as Jesus and His disciples were crossing in a boat. The people in the boat were so afraid, they were freaking out, and they had given up and pretty much figured they would die. But, Jesus pulled through... He always does. It may not always happen the WAY we think, WHEN we think or HOW we think: But He always will! Just know that a storm never lasts forever- that your Faith and your strength are tested in these times. So know, this is a test. This is your opportunity to grow into the person you were created to be! Get excited, because after the storm, you will be THAT MUCH STRONGER.
The Waiting: This season, for me, is the most difficult! It is the season I currently reside in. I am finding myself to almost go crazy! Waiting is one of the longest journeys to be on, because most of the time you are not sure of an end. I have always enjoyed a race, because only I could determine how much longer it was going to take for me to finish... But to wait, is to not always know when you are ready to travel to the next place? Waiting could be because you are depending on others. Waiting could be to develop patience in you. Waiting could be because you injured yourself, and now have to rehab. No matter what the reason is... I need Peace as I wait. So for those of you in this journey... Be patient. Be hopeful. Get all you need out of this season, so you can be ready to move to the next one!!! Most of all: May peace be on you as you are reminded that GOD IS IN CONTROL of your Journey!
There are many other seasons and journeys I know... If you would like to share about yours, I would love to hear about it.
Thankful to be writing again... Cause this Journey I am on- will always be changing!
Dream BIG! Enjoy the Journey and look excited toward the future!
Love Always,
Melissa
Seems as you've done some volunteer duties, but no professional experience working in the field of Humanities. You are an extremely remarkable photographer and should apply for the next Photographer to travel the world for 2 weeks on DreamJobbing. I'm only suggesting as once you are entered into the video file of top 50, you may not enter again. It's just a mere suggestion though using Disney's Animal Kingdom backdrop will get you disqualified as it's copyrighted. Don't waste your talent.
